About Us
Sherston Publishing Group was established in 1983 by teachers who believed the best way to realise the huge potential of educational software was to become fully involved in its creation.
We are now the UK's leading provider of educational software for primary schools, with titles covering every part of the curriculum, and co-development partnerships with major education specialists, including BBC Active, BBC Motion Gallery, Eurotalk, LDA, Oxford University Press and Softease.
Over the last two decades we have published hundreds of educational titles, including some of the UK's most popular software, such as Tizzy's Toybox, The Crystal Rain Forest, and The Map Detectives. All are still going strong! Our current catalogue has over 150 titles, with more in the pipeline.
In July 2008 Sherston became part of BLi Education - a leading supplier of educational software, peripherals and hardware into schools in the UK and internationally, with an annual turnover of £7 million and over 100 staff members. Other companies within the BLi Group include long established and popular brands TAG Learning, SEMERC and Economatics Education.
