Arcventure: The Egyptians is an exciting simulation in which children take part in an archaeological dig based on the real Giza excavations. During the dig they will unearth a variety of ancient objects. To discover the origins of the unknown objects children will travel back in time to Ancient Egypt.  Here, they can explore this fascinating ancient society and ask questions of the people who live and work there.

Equally suited for use by small groups or individuals, this CD-ROM provides an opportunity for role play which develops decision-making skills and encourages group discussion.  The Information Hut is a valuable database that children can interrogate to examine and identify artefacts and so develop their research and deduction skills.

Children are also able to access a journal feature and use this to make notes about their progress and findings.
