Crystal Rain Forest has been a favourite with both children and teachers since its publication, and has sold more than 20,000 copies in the UK alone.

 

In this fabulous adventure, children must focus their skills to find a way to save the rain forest which is gradually being cut down and destroyed by the Cut and Run Gang. This highly interactive program is designed around a series of carefully structured problems that introduce children to the simple programming language, Logo.  The functions of Logo are explored in a logical and sequential manner, allowing children to gradually learn the relevant skills and ultimately be able to apply them independently.

 

A separate Crystal Logo application is included within the program and enables teachers to set their own challenges to match the focus of learning to the requirements of each child.
