Arcventure: The Vikings is an exciting simulation in which children travel back to Viking York to take part in an archaelogical dig at the Coppergate site. During the dig, they will unearth a variety of Viking artefacts which they need to identify.  To help them learn more about the objects, they can walk the streets of ancient Jorvik and ask questions of a variety of Viking characters.

 

Through historical enquiry, children are able to investigate found objects that they excavate and learn about what it was like living over 1000 years ago.
